The Adventures of the Futuristic Five
CHAPTER: one
“Look a bone!” Said Sniffer in his dream. “Oh, how big it is! Yum lick...Yuck!” Sniffer woke up and found he was chewing his rug! He spat it out and went into his master's bedroom.
“Master?” he whispered, for he was a very patient dog. “Master, wake up, it’s add-on day today and I'm getting new special eyes which light up!” Razorone got up and got Sniffer's breakfast ready.
“Master? Can I play with Chocolate?” asked Sniffer, who loved to play with Stanley's beagle.
“I guess, because I haven't got the upgrade ready yet.”
After Sniffer had gone, Razorone woke his sister Milly and their Mum and had breakfast.
“It will be 35ºC today and you can go to the swimming pool with your friends.”
“Oh! That would be lovely!” said Razorone and Milly, together.
So, after Razorone had upgraded Sniffer, they went to school and did their subjects. At 3:30 they went to the swimming pool. Sniffer kept jumping on everyone, especially chocolate. Georgia was the best swimmer and Stanley was the best at holding his breath.
Soon they got tired and ran around. That made them hot, so they went swimming again. When it was time to go home they heard on the news that Centico (the planet they lived on) should have started to turn around but instead it was going straight towards the sun!
“We will wait till we make sure Centico will not turn, before we make any plans about leaving Centico,” their father said.
But the days got hotter and hotter, and Centico did not start turning!
“We had better start to pack so we can leave, but where can we go?” asked their father.
“I know, we could go to Kosiuskan - it is the closest planet!” said Razorone.
“That is the best idea we have had so far,” said mother.
So it was settled. Razorone and his friends would move to Kosiuskan in one group (on earth gliders) and then their parents with the furniture.
It took a few months to settle in to their houses, but they got to enjoy it. They made new school friends, and had lots of fun making a new club called the. Sniffer and Chocolate had lots of bones in the garden already, and there was more space, now that they had a bigger garden. They had also built a tree house that had powerful, high-tech computers for their club.
chapter: two
Razorone also found the two books he had been trying to find for a long time.
“Here they are,” he said to himself. “Electronics for Kids and How to Be an Inventor. Now I can build things like miniature lifts! And these books also come with ideas about how to build things faster!”
That night, Razorone's parents let him go and work on the tree house with his dad and his friends. Razorone, Milly, Stanley, Zachary, and Georgia installed a lift. Over the next week they continued to add and build on the tree house.
“Phew! It looks great, doesn't it?” said Stanley flopping down on the garden bench beside Razorone and Zachary.
“Hello everybody.”
“Oh, hi Dad.”
“Nearly finished?”
“Milly and Georgia are giving it a last coat of paint on the inside.”
That night everyone tried out the appliances and gadgets in the tree house. Over the week, Razorone and his friends had installed a small kitchen along with a dining-room and bathroom in the bottom level. Then there was a level where they had meetings and things. On the top level, there were two bedrooms with two beds in each along with a basket for Sniffer. And there was a rooftop part with a table and chairs. Everyone had great fun in the tree house and found it extremely useful in some instances.
“Let's also put in some rope swings and things like that,” said Georgia.
“Or another platform that can only be reached by a hanging rope!”
chapter: three
“Let's go and play on our computers to pass time until we can go to Coyote City.” said Razorone.
“OK.” said everyone except Sniffer who wanted to play outside. But that was solved because he played with Chocolate digging up bones.
It was fun to play outlaws and knights on the computers. Two of them were outlaws and three of them were knights. Swords slashed from the knights and bows went twang from the outlaws. One knight was down, one, no two outlaws were down.
Soon, it was time to go to Coyote city. They hopped on their earth-gliders and set off to water wave 2. When they got there they found it had super fast water-slides, a thing called the whirlpool and water tunnels that are said to have secrets ways in them. After they had payed to get in they started to explore Milly and Georgia went to the water slides, Zac went to the whirlpool while Stanley and Razorone went to the water tunnels.
“Stan?” said Razorone who had lost Stanley because Stanley was faster at swimming. “Sigh, where caaaaaaa...!” he started but he suddenly fell down a hole that seemed to appear in front of him.
SPLASH! He fell into a big underground low roofed passage. He could see that people were meant to fall down because he could see other trap doors that led to the same tunnel he was in. also, the passage he was in went under the upper one.
He had followed it for a while and when SPLASH! Someone had landed on Razorone!
“Ouch!” said two people.
“Raz?” said a voice.
“Comet?” said Razorone.
“Raz what are you doing on Kosiuskan? Said Comet amazed.
“Oh, we moved to Kosiuskan when Centico wouldn't start turning.” said Razorone.
“Oh yes, I heard about that.” said Comet. “But do you live in Coyote city?”
“No, I live in Loopdale.” said Razorone. “And I forgot that you lived in Coyote city.”
“We could visit each other.” said Comet.
“Oh, I almost forgot, I have five other friends that might like to meet you.” said Razorone.
“My seven other friends are here too...well one is my sister, Kodi.” said Comet. The two boys swam along while they talked.
“We've made a business called the Gadget Gismos.” said Comet.
“Really? We are starting to make plans for a business too.” said Razorone.
“Look, there's Paul!” said Comet getting excited. “Hey Paul! Wait up. This is my second cousin Razorone, he and his five friends moved to Kosiuskan when Centico didn't start turning.”
“Hi, I'm Razorone, Raz for short, are you Paul?” said Razorone.
“Yes.”
“Paul, guess what, Raz and his friends are starting a business to sell inventions just like us!” said Comet.
Over time, all the friends came together, one by one. Soon they all were chatting and laughing and splashing together. Later, it was time to go home.
“We should come over to your house with all your friends as well as mine.” said Stanley to Copper.
They hopped on their Earth Gliders and raced home.
“Mum, we saw Comet and all his friends at Water Wave 2. And we are Razorone gave her a nudge and whispered.
“It was just an idea.”
“Well it sounds like you had a good time” said their mother with a smile.
“Can you come and help get lunch ready Milly?” she asked
“I'll help too, girls can't do all the work” said Razorone.
Chapter: four
“Ok, let’s get to work.” Said Razorone in a loud voice “We need to build a place to put everything that we sell and I could invent some more things like the DC (Data Crystal)
“The Data Crystal?” Asked Milly
“Yes, my latest invention, it can plug into your computer and you can save anything you want on it and you can take it anywhere.
“Oh, I see” said Milly confused.
So they all got busy typing and thinking up ideas and plans for the business. Finally, Razorone said “let’s go up to the living level and have a snack while we talk about our ideas.”
When they all were sitting at the table and munching briskets Razorone asked. “How has everybody done?”
“I think we should have a shed that joins up with the tree house. We store our stock of things in the tree house and the back of the shed. Then, we have a counter coming out of a big rectangular hole in the front of the shed.” suggested Stanley.
“I think we should have a catalog that we publish every three weeks or so.” said Milly.
“I could draw pictures for the things we sell and things like prices” said Sniffer trying to join in.
“I think they are all very good ideas and I have thought of another invention called the HB or Hover Board.” said Razorone. “You have three different engines that are different prices. You can have back tails and front heads, you can have a texture and a neon ring around your board as well, and I will decide the prices soon. Here is a picture of it all. And Sniffer, you will have to practice your drawing if you want to draw and write for the 'Futuristic Five' business,” said Razorone.
“I can’t wait till tomorrow, I know I can’t! Said Sniffer
Yes, tomorrow would come but something would unexpectedly interfere.
